Services for Gary Anthony Martins of Penn Valley are private. Gary, 59, died July 14, 2008, at Fremont Medical Center in Yuba City. He was born on April 25, 1949, in Ceres.

Gary was a resident of Penn Valley for seven years and a prior resident of Colusa for 15 years. He worked in farming and helped his father with his walnut ranch.

Survivors include his son Gary K. Martins of Yuba City; parents Harold and Nancy Martins of Colusa; stepsister Carol Trejo of Lompoc and three grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his brother Barney Martins.

Services are under the direction of McNary-Moore Funeral Service, Colusa.
