William Rippe
Born December 17, 1952 in Redding, Ca.
Passed away on May 18, 2008 at Mercy Medical Center after a brave six week fight to recover from an aortic dissection.
Marc grew up in Arbuckle, and returned to Redding in the mid 1980s where he worked as a welder/fabricator for many years and most recently as a Handyman.
Marc loved people, he was loved by many and always made friends wherever he went. He had a great love for the outdoors; he loved to golf, camp, hike, boating/canoeing or simply being outdoors while spending time with family and friends. He also loved music, playing the guitar, dancing, animals, movies and especially smiling and giving hugs.
Marc is survived by his Mother Sue Rippe of Redding, CA; Brother Daryl Rippe (Florence) of Rancho Cordova, CA; Sister Lori Maxwell (Jim) of Oakley, CA; Nieces, Suzette Rippe, Michelle Lutz, Cassandra Rippe and Stephanie Newell; Great nephew’s William and Michael and Great niece Karissa; Many Aunts and cousins and numerous friends. He also left behind his soul mate and the love of his life Debbie Domberg who was by his side during his passing. He was preceded in death by his Father William (Bill) Rippe of Arbuckle, CA.
A special Thanks is given to Mercy Medical Center’s CICU staff and his Doctors for the wonderful care that was given to him.
A memorial service and celebration of his life is being planned for 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 28 at the New Day Church 5221 Cedars Road, Redding, Ca. 96001.
