Lettter: 'Special auntie' appalled by story

I was appalled by the front page article on Saturday, Aug. 28, entitled "Ingebretsen killer cannot ask for release."

I am Janis Ramazzini's cousin, best friend, "sister" and Nathan's cousin, "special auntie."

As stated in the paper, (Leo) Contreras did not assist in the investigation. However, it is true that Nathan did assist in the investigation. Nathan was driven around by law enforcement in the early morning hours after breaking down and confessing.

Nathan showed law enforcement officers where to find several crucial pieces of evidence. Nathan was not given any special consideration for helping law enforcement with the investigation.
