Jose Belmares-Cabrera

Mass will begin at 10 a.m. today at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Arbuckle for Jose Belmares-Cabrera with burial at Arbuckle Cemetery. Jose, 84, died July 18, 2008, in Arbuckle.

He was born on March 19, 1924, in Linares, Mexico, and was a resident of Arbuckle for 45 years. He retired from agriculture and was a member of the Holy Cross Catholic Church of Arbuckle.

Survivors include his wife, Maria Cabrera of Arbuckle; daughter Anita Garza of Arbuckle; son Jose M. Cabrera of Arbuckle; sister, Sara Cabrera of Reynosa, Mexico and three grandsons.

He was preceded in death by his brother Benito Cabrera and son-in-law, Jose Garza.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 1710 Gilbreth Road, Burlingame, CA. 94010. Arrangements are under the direction of McNary-Moore Funeral Home, Colusa.
