Maria Garcia Arias

Funeral Mass is scheduled for today at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Fourth and Oak Streets in Colusa for Maria Garcia Arias of Colusa. Burial will follow at Colusa Cemetery, 1974 Wilson Ave.

Maria, 68, died Sept. 15, 2008, at Colusa Regional Medical Center of natural causes. She was born on Feb. 28, 1940, in Zacatecas, Mexico. Maria was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Colusa.

Survivors include her sons, Gerardo Arias-Garcia of Yuba City, Rafael Arias of Colusa, Ismael Arias of Colusa, Francisco Arias of Colusa, Manuel Arias of Parlier and Audel Arias of Colusa; daughters, Martha Arias of Parlier, Consuelo Arias of Parlier and Rosa Arias of Colusa; 27 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Francisco Arias; daughter Rosa Arias and granddaughters, Rosalia and Maria Arias.

Arrangements are under the direction of McNary-Moore Funeral Service.
