Police Blotter: Oct. 14
FELONY
• Filiberto Corona Ambriz, 34, of the 100 block of Sixth Street, Arbuckle, was arrested by the Yolo County Sheriff’s Office at 7:15 p.m., Oct. 13, at his residence on suspicion of knowingly receiving stolen property and being a felon in possession of a fire arm. He was booked into Colusa County Jail.
• Katrina Mae Barnwell, 23, of the 2000 block of County Line Road, Arbuckle, was arrested by the Colusa County Sheriff’s Office at 5 p.m., Oct. 11 at the Colusa Casino on suspicion of knowingly receiving stolen property.
• Jose Luis Villa Mendoza, 25, of San Jose, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 1:05 a.m., Oct. 13 on southbound Interstate 5, south of Hillgate Road on suspicion of transporting more than 28,5 grams of marijuana and possession of marijuana for sale. He was booked into Colusa County Jail.
DUI
• Miguel Hector Escobar, 72, of the 800 block of Twelfth Street, Williams, was arrested by the Williams Police Department at 8 p.m., Oct. 13, in front of his residence. He was booked into Colusa County Jail.
• Gabino Garcia Placencia, 20, of Vallejo, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 1:04 a.m., Oct. 12, on southbound Interstate 5, south of Delevan Road. He was booked into Colusa County Jail.
• Mariana Theresa Rosales, 29, of the first block of Swift Street, Orland, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 7:30 a.m., Oct. 11, on northbound Interstate 5, north of Maxwell Road. She was booked into Colusa County Jail.
