Visitation for Sherri Lynn Burgess, 49, is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at McNary-Moore Chapel in Colusa. A graveside service is at 1 p.m. Saturday at Arbuckle Cemetery.

Burgess died Sept. 22, 2008, at Alderson’s Convalescent Hospital in Woodland after a very long illness. She was born Oct. 8, 1958, in Pasadena and moved with her family to Arbuckle when she was a young girl. She attended Pierce High School and was active in FFA and many other activities.

Burgess is survived by her mother, Barbara Bubigkeit of Folsom, and children Keri Jean, Jarred Lee and Holly Lynn Burgess. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; father Gary Bubigkeit; and a very young sister.
