Edna Chism

Visitation for Edna Katherine Chism, 96, of Sites Township, Colusa County, is from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at McNary-Moore Funeral Chapel, 107 Fifth St., Colusa. A chapel service will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at Maxwell Baptist Church, 177 N. California St., Maxwell. Burial will follow at Maxwell Cemetery.

Chism died Oct. 19, 2008, at Glenn Medical Center in Willows. She was born March 25, 1912, in Oklahoma. She was a bookbinder and attended Maxwell Baptist Church.

Chism is survived by sons James and Donald Chism, both of San Mateo; sisters Anabelle Johanson of San Francisco and Lola Guther of Oklahoma; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
