Snow Goose registration open
Registration is now open for the 14th annual Snow Goose Festival of the Pacific Flyway, Jan. 24-27, in Chico.
The festival includes over 60 field trips and excursions; a wide variety of indoor workshops and presentations; a banquet featuring Chico's Roger Lederer and Carol Burr as keynote speakers; Pacific Flyway Art Exhibit featuring wildlife and habitat artwork; and free events for all ages, especially kids.

Art class gift-certificates offered
The Colusa County Arts Council is offering holiday special gift certificates during December only. The cost is $76 for three ceramics classes.
Classes are normally $30 each, plus an occasional $7 clay fee.
The classes are held on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month at the Colusa County Arts Council, 430 Market St., Suite C, Colusa. Students must be at least 14 years old.
Peter Adams is the instructor.
Photography classes available
The Colusa County Arts Council will hold photography classes, taught by Ulan Valusek, from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. every Thursday evening.
The cost is $15 per month.
Students must bring a laptop computer with Photoshop Elements installed and digital photos they have taken.
