Small farm workshop Thursday
Colusa Resource Conservation District will host a Small Farm Direct Marketing and Business Essentials workshop from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at the Colusa Industrial Park, 100 Sunrise Blvd., Colusa.
Topics of discussion will include farmers market certifications; top 10 things to know to run a viable business, The new cottage food law and more.
Lunch will be available.

Farm Bureau hosts dinner
The 89th annual Colusa County Farm Bureau dinner is Thursday at the Colusa County Fairgrounds.
The cost is $50.
It will start with a 5:30 event that will include wine, cheese, sausage and Sushi by the Rawbar, followed by dinner at 7 and music by the Mill Creek Rising Bluegrass Band.
A silent auction and raffles also will be held.

All-you-can eat dinner Friday
Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School is holding an all-you-can-eat crab feed at 5:30 p.m. March 8 at St. Bernadette's Hall, 745 Ware Ave., Colusa.
The event will also include an auction.
Tickets are $40. They are available at the school or at the door.
Proceeds go to the school.
Tea being served
The annual Almond Blossom Tea will be held at noon on March 16 at the Arbuckle Community Church Social Hall, 701 Hillgate Road.
The event includes a salad luncheon, raffle of a hand-made quilt, door prizes and entertainment.
The cost is $8. Raffle tickets are $1 or six for $5. Proceeds benefit the church's Women's Missionary Society.

Williams Antique Show nears
The 36th annual Williams Antique Show and Sale is approaching fast.
The event will be held from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. March 16 and from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. March 17 at the Old Gym next to the Sacramento Valley Museum, 1491 E St., Williams.
And art and wine tasting event hosted by the Colusa County Arts Council will also be held at the museum from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on March 16 at the museum.
Cook-off taking entries
Entries are now being taken for the 12th annual Colusa Western Days Dutch Oven Cook-Off at the Colusa County Fairgrounds on April 6.
There is no fee, but a $20 deposit to reserve a space is required. The deadline to enter is March 27.
Prize money equals $1,250, with a top prize of $150 in each of the three categories.
