Colusa senior organizes walk
Colusa High senior Emilio Swift is organizing a 4-mile walk/run on April 27 to raise funds for the Eleanor Azevedo Memorial Youth Empowerment Service.
The youth group helps youngsters throughout the county pay for activities such as Little League, soccer, karate and much more.
The event, part of Swift's senior project, will start at 9 a.m. at the Colusa Industrial Properties, 50 Sunrise Blvd., Colusa.
Registration forms are available at the Colusa County One-Stop, 144 Market St., and can be dropped off at the office. Ask for Terri Rivera. Anyone who registers prior to April 5 gets a T-shirt.
The cost is $15 for anyone 12 or older.

Williams FBLA pancake feed
The Williams High School Future Business Leaders of America chapter is holding a pancake feed from 8 a.m.-noon on March 17 at the Williams fire hall.
Each ticket holder will also receive milk, juice, coffee and a choice of sausage or bacon.
Tickets are $8 and $4 for anyone under 8. Tickets can be purchased from any FBLA member or by calling the high school, 473-5369 Ext. 11328.
Proceeds will help send several finalists to the State FBLA Conference in Santa Clara.
