DUI arrests
Michael Charles Hankins, of the 200 block of Oak St., Maxwell, was arrested by the Colusa Police Department at 3:36 p.m. Monday on Market and Ninth St. in Colusa for riding a bicycle under the influence of drugs or alcohol. He was booked into the Colusa County Jail on $620 bail.
Felony arrests
Paul Bevan MgGehee, of the 1300 block of Salt Cr., Arbuckle, was arrested by Colusa County Sheriff’s deputies at his home at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday on suspicion of transporting marijuana, planting and cultivation of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia and possession of marijuana with the intent to sell. He was booked into the Colusa County jail on $40,000 bail.
Ricky Sarantschin, 56, of San Francisco, was arrested by a narcotics task force at 6:40 p.m. Wednesday, southbound Interstate 5, one mile south of Williams, on suspicion of transportation of marijuana. Sarantschin was booked into the Colusa County Jail. His bail was set at $20,000 bail.
