Police Blotter: May 16, 2012

DUI

Victor Manuel Martinez, 46, of Maxwell, was arrested at 9:01 p.m. May 12 by Colusa County sheriff's deputies on Lurline Road and Highway 99W, on suspicion of driving while under the influence. He was booked into the Colusa County Jail. Bail was set at $1,634.

FELONY

Charles Philip Lathrop, 55, of Yucaipa, was arrested at 8:34 p.m. May 12 by the California Highway Patrol on Interstate 5, south of Husted Road, on suspicion of attempted second-degree murder, assault with a deadly weapon other than a firearm and a DUI-related warrant. He was booked into the Colusa County Jail and held without bail.

Oscar Ramirez-Azevedo, 33, of Colusa, was arrested at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday by Colusa police at a Highway 20 apartment complex on suspicion of illegal entry into the country and a misdemeanor count of battery. He is being held on no bail.
