Rock It to play Thursday
Rock It will perform at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Williams Concert in the Park series in the park behind the Sacramento Valley Museum, 1491 E St., Williams.
Colusa Alumni Days return
The second annual Colusa High Alumni Days gets under way with Friday Night Cutting the Square, barbecue and music at Davison Park Pavilion between 6 p.m.-9 p.m.
The Cops and Rodders Car Show runs from 10 a.m- 4 p.m. Saturday.
The event is hosted by the Deputy Sheriff's Association. There will be music and the Colusa Lions Club will be barbecuing hot dogs and hamburgers.
Finish the evening with an outdoor dance in the parking lot next to the swimming pool from 7 p.m.-10 p.m.
Fly-in on Saturday
The 16th annual Old Time Fly-in at the Colusa County Airport will be held Saturday.
Breakfast will be served from 7:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m., and lunch from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Meals are free for the pilots and their passengers. Breakfast is $6 and lunch $8 for others. A raffle will also be held.
The airport is located along Highway 20 east of Colusa.

Kids' baking, decorating class
Children ages five and up will have three sweet days of fun July 24-26, with baking, decorating, ceramics and more. The cost is $65.

Veterans holding charity picnic
The Colusa County Veterans Picnic will be held from 11 a.m-5 p.m. July 28 at Davison Park at Ninth and Parkhill streets near the swimming pool in Colusa.
The tri-tip lunch is $15. There will be a raffle and door prizes.
Proceeds benefit Maxwell American Legion, Colusa Veterans of Foreign Wars and the disabled veterans program, Field of Dreams.
Class of 1962 reunion set
Colusa High School Class of 1962 will hold their 50th reunion in Reno Aug. 3-4.

Volunteers needed at refuges
Volunteers are needed for the "Brush-up Day" on Sept. 22 at the Sacramento and Delevan national wildlife refuges.
Participants will register at 8:30 a.m. at the hunting check-in station at the Sacramento refuge along Old Highway 99W south of Willows.
Refuge staff and volunteers will clean blinds, stake pathways, and repair signs in preparation for the upcoming waterfowl hunting season.
A barbecue lunch sponsored by California Waterfowl will be provided on site for $8 per person.
A hunter forum will take place in the afternoon to discuss current wetland habitat conditions, waterfowl population trends and hunting season regulations.
