Arlyne A. Ponciano
A visitation is scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m. today for Arlyne Ponciano of Colusa with rosary at 7 p.m. at McNary-Moore Chapel in Colusa. Funeral Mass is scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Colusa.
Arlyne, 71, died Aug. 10, 2008, of natural causes at Fremont Medical Center.
She was born on April 15, 1937, in Willows. She was the librarian for Colusa High School and a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church and numerous other clubs and organizations.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years Richard “Butch” Ponciano of Colusa; daughter, Adele Ponciano-Nieto of Sacramento; sons, Rick Ponciano of Morepark and Greg Ponciano of Colusa, brothers, Ernie Ambrosini of Colusa, Dan Ambrosini of Willows and Bill Ambrosini of Pacific Grove; sisters, Lillian Louderback of Oroville and Elsie Lee of Prunedale; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Arrangements are under the direction of McNary-Moore Funeral Home of Colusa.

| I remember Mrs. Ponciano as the librarian when I was a student at Colusa High School back in the 1970s. She was always so friendly and helpful. I am sorry to hear that she has passed away. |
