Frank Lecce
A graveside service is scheduled for Frank Lecce of Colusa at 11 a.m. Friday at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery 1741 Wescott Rd. in Colusa.
Frank, 83, died Aug. 22, 2008, at Colusa Regional Medical Center of natural causes.
He was born on April 17, 1925, in Colusa. He was an appliance repairman. Frank joined the U.S. Army in 1944, earned the rank of Sergeant and was awarded the American Theator Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal and Victory Medal of World War II. He was honorably discharged on May 10, 1946.
Survivors include his daughters, Diana and husband Jim Locey of Yuba City, and Kathy and husband Jim Dye of Arbuckle; grandchildren, Andrea and husband Jim Blankenship of El Dorado Hills and Stephen MacPherson and wife Mandi of Fairchild Air Force Base, Spokane Wash.; and great-grandchildren, Jake, Alex, Chase, Chad and Jenna. Stephen, a 13 year veteran in the United States Air force is currently deployed in the Middle East.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Presbyterian Church on Fourth and Jay Streets in Colusa. Arrangements are under the direction of McNary-Moore Funeral Service of Colusa.
