Letter: More thoughts on 'cow loosie' mascot

Colusa got its name by a chainman chasing a cow hollering, "Cow loosie, cow loosie, cow loosie." The high school could become the Colusa County Cowboys. The town baseball team used to be called the Colusa Pruners, I guess because of all the prunes that use to be around.

Other good names might be the Colusa Farmers, the Colusa Harvesters, the Colusa Machines, the Colusa High Footballers, the Colusa Rice Hullers.

Don't really understand the problem with the Redskins.
