Register for mature driver's class
The Colusa Parks and Community Services Department is offering a mature drivers class from 8:15 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. at the conference room of City Hall, 425 Webster St. The cost is $17 for AARP members and $19 for non-members. Give blood, save a life
The BloodSource Toy and Blood Drive is from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, sponsored by the Knights of Columbus No. 2145 and the Colusa County Sheriff's Department. Located at the Lady of Lourdes school hall at 735 Ware St., all participants will receive a free T-shirt. There will be a collection barrel for new, unwrapped toys for the CHP's for Kids Toy Drive. Waffle and pancake breakfast planned
The Williams Community Church Bazaar, with a waffle and pancake breakfast, will be hosted by the Williams Co-op VBS. The cost for breakfast is $4 for adults and $2 for children. The Bazaar runs from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Dec. 5 at the corner of Ninth and C streets. For more information, call 438-2227.
Stonyford community hosts holiday festivities
Stonyford will hold its annual Christmas Craft Faire from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Dec. 5 at the Stonyford Community Hall. Crafts, baked and canned goods, honey items, quilts and more will be available. To rent a table or for more information, call Barbara Leach at 963-3197.
Colusa to host winter concert
Bands from fifth through 12th grades, and the Colusa High School Show Choir, will perform at the annual winter concert at 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 7, at Colusa Community Theater, 745 10th St. Admission is free.
Learn to make holiday wreathes
Colusa Parks and Community Services Department is offering a holiday wreath-making class from 2-5 p.m. on Dec. 9 at the Senior Center/Scout Cabin, 901 Parkhill St. in Colusa. Cost is $30 for city residents and $38 for out of city residents. The last day to sign up is Dec. 1. For more information, call Sandy at 458-5622 ext. 109.
Take a ROP class for free
The Colusa County Office of Education offers free, on-going classes in Applied Marketing and Office Education. These classes are held in the Community Learning Classroom at 345 Fifth St. in Colusa. Call Cassandra Fine at 458-0350, ext. 10331 for more information.
Celebrate the holiday season
Williams' second annual Festival of Lights Parade will be held on Dec.12. Sponsored by the Citizens for a Better Williams, the parade begins at 6:30 p.m. and concludes with a community get-together at the Sacramento Valley Museum, 1491 E. St., Williams.
