Felony arrests

Jesus Romero Hernandez, 26, of the 100 block of Westgate Road, Williams, was arrested by the Williams Police Department at 10:06 p.m. Aug. 16 at 12th and E streets on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and transporting a controlled substance with intent to sell. He was booked into Colusa County Jail.

Jose Guadalupe Moreno, 23, no address listed, was arrested by the Colusa County Sheriff’s Department at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 16 in the 300 block of Bradford Street, Arbuckle, on suspicion of obstructing a peace officer. He was booked into Colusa County Jail.

Driving under the influence

Joseph Steven Bowers, 24, of the 400 block of Vasto Drive, Williams, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 2 a.m. Aug. 17 on Abel Road east of Husted Road. He was booked into Colusa County Jail.

Francisco Mateo Garcia, 30, of the 1700 block of Highway 20, Colusa, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 7:31 p.m. Aug. 15 on old Highway 99W south of Bailey Road, Arbuckle. He was booked into Colusa County Jail.
