Dan Holbrook
A rosary is scheduled for Dan Lowe Holbrook of Colusa for 7 p.m. Sunday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Colusa. Funeral Mass is planned for 11 a.m. Monday also at the church.
Dan, 75, died of natural causes on Sept. 2, 2008, at Colusa Regional Medical Center. He was born on June 22, 1933 in Sacramento and served in the U.S. Navy. Dan was the owner and operator of Arco Welder Repair and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, American Wilders Society and Navy Sea Bee’s.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Essler Holbrook of Colusa; sons, Michael Joseph Holbrook of Hunnington Beach, and Matthew Duffey Holbrook of Ontario; brothers, P. Thomas Holbrook of San Jose and Richard C. Holbrook of San Marcos; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, John Holbrook.
