45 seats on Colusa County panels will open in 2012

The Colusa County Board of Supervisors will have a host of appointments to make this year, as more than 45 seats on 20 committees, commissions, boards or districts will expire in 2012.

Application are available from the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, located at 547 Market St., Suite 102, on the ground floor of the historic courthouse.

Applications can be requested in writing to the above address (zip code 95932), going online to www.countyofcolusa.org, by emailing cocolusa@ countyofcolusa.org, or by calling 458-0508.

Vacancies are available on the Agriculture/Air Pollution Control Affairs Advisory Committee; and Air Pollution Control District Hearing Board.

Other vacancies are on the Arbuckle College City Fire Protection District; Princeton Fire Protection District; Sacramento River Fire Protection District; and Williams Fire Protection District.

Additionally, there are seats available on the College City Cemetery District; Colusa Cemetery District; Maxwell Cemetery District; and Princeton Cemetery District.

The Princeton Water Works District board has openings, as does the Groundwater Management Commission and the Cortina Creek Flood Control and Water Conservation District.

Appointments will be made to the Fish and Game Commission; the Historical Records Commission; the Mosquito Abatement District; and the Revolving Loan Fund Advisory Committee.

Finally, vacancies will filled on the Children and Families committee; Developmental Disabilities Area Board III; and In-Home Supportive Services Advisory Committee.
