DUI

Jose E. Garcia Cortes, 36, of Portland, Ore., was arrested at 11:48 a.m. Thursday at the Maxwell rest area parking lot off Interstate 5 by the California Highway Patrol on suspicion of driving under the influence, illegal entry, driving without a license and possessing an open container of alcohol. He was booked into the Colusa County Jail on a no-bail immigration hold.
