Easter Activities: Egg hunts on Saturday
Easter Egg Hunt at fairgrounds
The Colusa Lions Club is hosting an Easter egg Hunt at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Colusa County Fairgrounds.
Preschoolers through third-graders are welcome to participate.
Williams Egg Hunt set for today
An Easter Egg Hunt will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Venice Park in Williams.
There will be prizes such as golden eggs, Easter baskets and chocolate bunnies. The Easter Bunny will be on hand.
The hunts are divided into age groups: 2-3, 4-5, 6-8.
Sunrise service by the river
Several churches in Colusa are hosting an Easter sunrise service at 6:30 a.m. Sunday along the Sacramento River at the top of 10th Street.
The congregants will sing songs, listen to the Biblical account of the resurrection and hear a message of good news from the Rev. Darrin Harvey.
Chairs will be provided, but attendees can bring their own comfortable chairs if they prefer.
If it rains, the service will be moved to the Presbyterian Church at the corner of Jay and Fourth streets.
Methodists celebrating Easter
Arbuckle United Methodist Church will host a community sunrise services at 6:30 a.m. Sunday at the Arbuckle Golf Club, 5918 Hillgate Road. Easter Sunday service to begin at 9 a.m. at the church, 600 Pendelton Street, Arbuckle.
