Meeting date changed
The regularly scheduled Thursday meeting of the Glenn-Colusa Irrigation District board of directors has been rescheduled to 9 a.m. Oct. 4, 344 E. Laurel St., Willows.
Rummage sale Oct. 6
The Methodist Women of the Arbuckle United Methodist Church will hold its annual Fall Rummage Sale from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 6, Ninth and Pendelton streets, Arbuckle.
To contribute to the sale, please leave your items by the front door of the church.

Register to vote
The Colusa County Elections Department will be signing up voters in a tent in front of the historic courthouse as part of National Voter Registration Day on Tuesday.
The booth will be open from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
To register, a person must be at least 18 years old by the date of the election, a US citizen and resident of California.

Elk Creek to host arts festival
The Elk Creek Citizen's Library Committee will host its third annual free Arts Festival to show off area artists' talents.
The event will take place from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Sept. 29; and from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Sept. 30 at the Elk Creek Library grounds, 455 Elm St., Elk Creek.
Complimentary refreshments will be served.
All area artists are invited to participate. Display spaces are free, but on a first-come, first-served basis.
