May 10-Church to host rail enthusiasts

There will be a meeting of model railroaders starting at noon Saturday at 720 Ware Ave, Colusa.  Bethlehem Lutheran Church is  across the street from Our Lady of Lourdes School at the intersection of Ware Avenue and Eighth Street.

There will be some models of historical locomotives and buildings to view. The first of two clinics starts at 12:15 and explains how to make scale-sized trees. The second Clinic shows how to construct model buildings and use various types of glues.

Starting at 2:30, there will be several tours of local area points of interest and railroad layout tours, including two in Yuba City.  Maps will be provided. Refreshments are provided by the Sierra Division of the Pacific Coast Region of the National Model Railroad Association (NMRA).

For more information, call the Rev. Walter Schedler at 458-8383.
