Briefs: Logue addresses Obamacare
Assemblyman Dan Logue, R-Loma Rica, is hosting a town hall meeting on Obamacare from 1-3 p.m. Friday in the council chambers at Yuba City City Hall, 1201 Civic Center Blvd.
Among those expected to attend are David Panush, director of Government Relations for the California Health Benefit Exchange, Dr. Richard E. Thorp, president-elect of the California Medical Association, Ken DeVore, legislative director of the National Federation of Independent Business in California, and Charles Bacchi, executive vice president of the California Association of Health Plans.
Master Gardeners present info
Colusa County Master Gardeners will have information booths located from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on March 29 at Griff's Feed and Seed, 851 Seventh St., Colusa; and rom 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 6 at the Family Fair at the Colusa County Fairgrounds, 1303 10th St.
The group also will be at the Tribal Health Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., on April 11 at the Indian Community Conference Room, 3730 Highway 45; and at the Drip Irrigation Workshop from 9-11 a.m. on April 20 at the Colusa County Fairgrounds.

Artist to teach watercolor
Mendocino artist John Hewitt will teach a watercolor classes from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. April 18-20 at the Colusa County Arts Council, 430 Market St., Suite C, Colusa.
Classes are $40 per day.

Fair logo contest opens
The Colusa County Fair is holding a contest for artists to design a logo for their 2013 Fair.
The theme is "Crafts, Crops and Critters."
Anyone is eligible to enter. The winning artwork will be used in various marketing materials for the 2013 Fair, scheduled for June 6-9. The winning artist will receive $100 and fair tickets.
Art may be presented as a flat original work or as a digital creation, no larger than 8-by10 inches or smaller than 4-by-6 inches. The original canvas must be supplied for the Fair to scan or, in the case of digital art, a printout is required, as well as a CD with the appropriate files.
