What are your goals for the upcoming year? To visit my daughter, who recently moved to Hawaii.

What was the best thing that happened to you in 2011? Getting the news that my daughter was moving to Hawaii. What a fun place to visit.

What was the worst thing that happened to you in 2011? My fender-bender in Chico.

Whom do you most admire and why? My mother, Marge. She is creative, knowledgeable, happy, sweet, loving and fun to be around.

What's something about yourself that your friends might not know? I like to sneak up and scare my co-workers.

What qualities in people do you most admire? I love people that are genuine and trustworthy.

What is guaranteed to make you smile? My grandchildren.

What are you thankful for? My boyfriend, Louis.

What are some of your fondest memories? Going to Bidwell Park with my family when I was young.
