Barbara O'Connell of Barb's Produce is served chicken marsala from Tommy's Market Street Grill at the Colusa Farm Bureau Dinner on Thursday night. The event had the theme “Local Bounty.” The mushrooms in the sauce were locally grown by Premiere and the side included several varieties of local rice. Food displays around the room provided a sampling of local flavors, including cheese from Rumiano Cheese Co. in Willows and sushi with locally grown rice prepared by Rawbar Restaurant in Chico. Colusa Farm Bureau President Chris Torres said there were about 450 people at the fundraising event.
