Ronald Leslie Flagor
Ron, 57, died January 3rd, 2008 at St. Rose Dominican Hospital in Henderson, NV. Ron was born August 5th, 1950 to Kenneth and Jeanette Flagor of Colusa. Ron grew up in Colusa County graduating from Williams High School and lived in Williams serving as a volunteer fire fighter and was a skilled welder/fabricator at Williams Machine Shop for a number of years. He then moved to Redding, CA. where he spent the majority of his adult life. He most recently moved to Henderson Nevada where he volunteered his time at St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church, cooking for and feeding the underprivileged. In his younger years, Ron was an avid outdoorsman loving to fish, hunt, and dive for abalone. Ron was a member of the Army National Guard and was honorably discharged in Nov 1977. Ron is preceded in death by his Mother Jeanette and is survived by his Father Kenneth Flagor of Colusa; 2 Brothers Kenneth Flagor Jr. also of Colusa, Robert Flagor of Couer d’ Alene, ID; 3 Children Kristi Flagor, Tammy Dunlap both of Kuna, ID, Gabe Flagor of Yorkville IL; as well as 5 Granddaughters.
A memorial service will be held at St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church at noon on January 11th, while his children will hold a private ceremony in Boise, ID at a future date.
