Police seek info on missing man
As it continues its investigation into the disappearance of 56-year-old Robert Lee Folsom, the Red Bluff Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in finding the Manton resident who was reported missing by his son, Tyjal Folsom, on Dec. 16.
Police said Tyjal Folsom found his father's car and dog in the parking lot of Casa Ramos Restaurant in Red Bluff around 9 p.m. Dec. 15, but was unable to find his father that night or the next day.
It was then that Tyjal Folsom contacted police.
Members of the Tehama County Search and Rescue, California Highway Patrol, Tehama County Sheriff's Office, the Red Bluff Fire Department and Red Bluff Police Department coordinated an extensive search for Robert Folsom, which was expanded over a three-day period.
Robert Folsom, described as a white man with brown hair and blue eyes, 5 feet, 11 inches tall, weighing about 200 pounds, was last seen at the Red Bluff Tractor Supply around 6:06 p.m. Dec. 15 and then at the Raley's Supermarket in Red Bluff at 6:24 p.m.
He was seen wearing a blue long sleeve shirt, blue jeans and a large brim hat.
During the course of this investigation, information was obtained that Robert Folsom was in Dog Island Park before he went missing.
