15,000 pounds of food given out to those in need
More than 300 Colusa County Residents received 15,000 pounds of fresh produce, bread and pastries at the Arbuckle Family Action Center on Aug. 30.
"Colusa County residents were thrilled to receive much needed groceries for their families," said Arbuckle Family Action Center coordinator Kim Owens.
Two truckloads of food were provided by California Emergency Foodlink of Sacramento and the North State Food Bank.
The event was sponsored by The Family Action Centers of Colusa County, California Emergency Foodlink of Sacramento, and the Community Action Agency of Butte County's North State Food Bank.
