Letter: Support extends service projects
Grimes Ladies Aid Society sends thanks to all who helped to make our annual dinner and bazaar a big success this year.
We will be able to continue maintaining the 140-year-old Grimes Community Church and Sunday School, as well as helping with projects at Grand Island Elementary School.
We also have various sick room equipment available for Grimes citizens who need help: walkers, wheelchairs, commodes, bath chair, for instance.
We sponsor the annual Easter egg hunt for Grimes, and for former Grimes youngsters, preschool to fourth-grade ages.
At Christmas, we along with Grimes Community Church, send 70 Samaritan purse shoe box gifts to children all over the world.
We deeply appreciate the support of all who contribute to our dinner and bazaar.
