Methodist church hosts show on aging
“Coming Fully Alive as You Age” will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church on Monday, May 5 and Monday, May 19
Explore new avenues for healthy aging as we discern and share the wisdom of our lives and experiences and discuss the positives of aging and how you can have a healthier, happier second half of life. “Coming Fully Alive as You Age” is a four-part series presented by Senior New Ways facilitator Pastor Rosemary Landry of Yuba City.
The first two sessions, “Finding Meaning in Life” and “Being Fully Alive--Mind, Body, Inner Wisdom,” will be presented on Monday, May 5, in Friendship Hall at Trinity United Methodist Church, 5th and Oak in Colusa, from 10:30 to noon and 12:30 to 1:30, with a light lunch served in between sessions.
The second two sessions, “Aging as a Spiritual Journey” and “Uplifting Power of Humor,” will be presented on Monday, May 19, at 10:30 to noon and 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Again, a light lunch will be provided.
It is not necessary to attend all sessions; each session stands on its own. There is no charge for the sessions or the lunch. If you have questions, please call the church office at 458-4509, or you may call the facilitator, Pastor Rosemary, at 530-673-7832.
