Surplus government commodities will be distributed in Colusa County this week and next to eligible low-income households. For more information, call 458-0494.

Maxwell: 9 to 11 a.m. today, George E. Cain Children’s Center, 185 North St.

Colusa: 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Colusa Senior Center/Boy Scout Cabin, 901 Parkhill St.

Williams: 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Williams Baptist Church, 251 Eighth St.

Grimes: 3 to 4 p.m. Friday, Grimes Boy Scout Building, Main Street.

Arbuckle: 9 to 11 a.m. Monday, Family Action Center, 615 Hall St.

Health fair

The sixth annual Senior Health Fair sponsored by Colusa Regional Medical Center is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at the main exhibit hall of the Colusa County Fairgrounds. Admission is free; hot lunch is available. Forty-three booths will provide a full range of health screenings and health information. For more information, call 458-5821.
