Kathryn Schohr
Kathryn Fern Schohr
Born December 17, 1917 in Arbuckle, CA passed away May 7, 2008 at her residence in which she was born. She was a farm owner for 68 years. Kathryn was a member of the Arbuckle Golf Club and three different bridge clubs. She enjoyed hosting her class reunions. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cooking meals for her entire family, traveling and making doll clothes that she donated. Kathryn enjoyed donating to anybody in need. The highlight of Kathryn’s life was sharing the delightful stories of what her grandchildren were doing.
She is survived by her nephew John Leonard of Gridley, in which she raised as a son.
Rebecca Hansen of Citrus Heights and Patricia Moore of Grimes, in which she raised as her own daughters. Sister Betty Bolin of Sacramento. Brother Ralph Schleich of Madera. eight grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Proceeded in death by her husband Friedrich Schohr and granddaughter Jane Ruiz.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday May 13th from 4-8 p.m. at McNary-Moore Funeral Chapel in Colusa. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday May 14th beginning 10 a.m. at Arbuckle Cemetery, Arbuckle, CA 95912.
Memorial donations may be made in Kathryn’s name to Arbuckle fire Dept. or Yolo Hospice.
