Lloyd Libby Sr.
Lloyd Davus Libby passed away May 19, 2008 in ST. Petersburg, Florida, 13 days after being diagnosed with cancer. He was born on February 20, 1940, to Arnold Libby and Edna May Coder Libby Friel, both of whom preceded him in death. Lloyd attended John School, Arbuckle Elementary, and Pierce High School. He lived in Washington State where he was a machinist for Boeing for several years. He then moved to Woodland, where he managed apartments. He moved to Oklahoma, then on to Florida where he was semi-retired.
Lloyd is survived by his son, Lloyd “David” Libby, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Carol of Land of Lakes, Florida; daughter, Laura Jean Prewitt, son-in-law Ruben Prewitt of Tilihine, Oklahoma; grandsons, Arron Libby, Kyle and Skyler Prewitt; granddaughter, Tyler Libby. He is also survived by sisters Leona Hassler, Jake Corner, Arizona; Judy Madden, Dunnigan, Sheri Aultman, Napa, and borther, Clark Friel of Elk Creek, Numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews, also survive. Services were held in St. Petersburg, Florida; with burial at Veterans Cemetery on May 23, 2008.
