Computer help for seniors
The Colusa County Library is offering a new service called Computer Help for Seniors.
It will be held from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. each Monday through April at the main library branch at the corner of Market and Seventh streets in Colusa.
It is an opportunity for seniors to learn more about email, Facebook and the Internet in general.

Williams student wins e-reader
Joseph LaGrande of Williams won a new Kindle Fire e-reader in the Colusa County Library's Try Tutor.com contest.
The program offers live help from professional tutors for students from kindergarten through college. The program features one-to-one tutoring and homework solutions to help students with math, science, writing, reading, social studies, and other subjects.
Senior caregivers meeting set
A meeting for those who care for the elderly will be held at 2 p.m. March 9 in the doctors lounge at Colusa Regional Medical Center.
The meeting is designed to give caregivers in similar and often difficult situations an opportunity to talk, share knowledge and information on resources.

Stonyford dinner on March 9
The Bear Valley-Indian Valley Fire Protection District will hold its fourth annual Indian Taco Dinner and Auction from 4:30 p.m.-7 p.m. March 9 at the Stonyford Town Hall.
Tickets are $7 in advance, or $8 at the door.
Proceeds support the firefighting and lifesaving activities of the fire protection district.

Wine tasting event March 16
The Colusa County Arts Council is hosting an Art and Wine Tasting from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on March 16 at the Sacramento Valley Museum, 1491 E St., Williams.

Smoke-free group seeks help
The Colusa County Tobacco Prevention Coalition is looking for anyone interested in helping develop smoke-free policies and programs.
The time commitment is minimal and lunch will be provided.
