Ladies Relief Society officers installed

Grand President Vicky Stegall installed Marge Wallace as senior vice president and Alicia Mena as a member of the Colusa No. 4 Catholic Ladies Relief Society board of directors at the group's recent Nov. 7 meeting.

Plans for the annual convention on May 7-8 were presented by committee Chairwoman Marge Wallace, and refreshments were served prior to the business meeting.

The Society will host the quarterly meeting of the Marysville Deanery on Thursday at St. Bernadette's Hall. Stegall is the chairwoman for the event.

Father Roy Doner, the Deanery chaplain, will celebrate the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church prior to the meeting.

Affiliates from organizations in Marysville, Yuba City, Chico and Sacramento are scheduled to attend, and all women of the local parish are welcome.

The next Society meeting will be Dec. 5 at Stegall's home, and will be held in conjunction with the annual Christmas party. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. Members and their guests are welcome.
