A memorial service for Jose Luis Vera Mendoza, 19, of Arbuckle is 3 p.m. Thursday at Pierece High School auditorium, 960 Wildwood Road. Visitation is at 5:30 p.m. and a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 412 Laurel St., Arbuckle. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at the church. Mendoza died June 14, 2009. Arrangements by McNary-Moore Funeral Service, Colusa.
