Hobbies and interests: Reading and traveling when possible.

What are your goals for the upcoming year? My current goal is to lead the Washington, D.C., trip with the seventh and eighth grades over Easter vacation. This summer, my husband and I would like to take our kids back up to the Oregon coast or see another state if possible.

Do you have the luck of the Irish? Yes I do, the good and the bad.

Whom do you most admire and why? Mother Teresa, for her strength, determination and self-sacrifice.

What's something about yourself that your friends might not know? I was born in Chicago.

What is your dream job? I honestly have it. I love teaching kids and am blessed to see my own children everyday at school.

What quality in people do you most admire? Determination

What is guaranteed to make you smile? Babies and kittens

What are you thankful for? My family and my health

What are some of your fondest memories? Going to the tidepools on the Oregon coast with my family this past summer.

Most embarrassing moment? That book is closed.

Biggest accomplishment? Earning my teaching credential from Saint Mary's College in Moraga

What do you hope to see happen this upcoming year? The price of gas to go down.
