Colusa grief support offered
McNary-Moore Funeral Service of Colusa sponsors a free grief support group at 7 p.m. the first Monday of each month at Trinity United Methodist Church, 511 Oak St., Colusa. For information, 458-2111.
Seniors invited to enjoy lunch
Senior citizens meet for lunch at noon, Monday through Thursday, at the Senior Center, 901 Parkhill St., Colusa. Suggested donations are $3 for seniors 60 and older, and $4 for non-seniors. Reservations required. For information, 458-0380.
Williams offers activities
The community is invited to play bingo at 6 p.m. Monday nights in Williams at the Veterans Hall. Game days will be held the third Wednesday at 1 p.m. and movie days are held on the fourth Wednesday at 1 p.m. Refreshments are available for purchase.
New Public Works hours
Beginning Monday, business hours for the Colusa County Public Works Department will be 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and open during lunch. The office is located at 1215 Market St. in Colusa.

Whooping cough clinics offered
Colusa County Public Health will hold free Whooping Cough (Pertussis) vaccination clinics for anyone 13 or older who cares for or spends time with infants and have not had a booster shot previously at the following locations:
Monday: 5-7 p.m., Colusa Farmers Market.
Friday: 10 a.m. to noon, at the Williams Flea Market.

Ice Cream Social scheduled
The Arbuckle United Methodist Church invites the community to their annual Ice Cream Social at 6 p.m. August 8, Ninth and Pendelton streets. Homemade ice cream and cookies will be served. Come and enjoy an evening of great Christian fellowship.
Mighty Might youth soccer
A coaches meeting for the new Colusa recreation youth soccer program is scheduled for 6 p.m., Aug. 9, in the conference room at City Hall, 425 Webster St.
Fees are $40 for city residents and $48 for non-city residents.
Sign-ups will start Monday and end Sept. 3.
