Jaime Padilla

A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. today at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 412 Laurel St. in Arbuckle for Jaime Padilla, 53, who died Dec. 24, 2008, in Mexico. Burial will follow at the Arbuckle Cemetery.

Padilla was born May 22, 1955, in Paracuaro, GTO, Mexico. He was a farmer and resident of Colusa for 35 years.

Padilla is survived by his sons, Jaime Padilla Jr. of Colusa, Benjamin Padilla and Cuitlahuac Padilla, both of Arbuckle; parents Luis and Juana Padilla of Colusa; brothers Humberto Padilla of Arbuckle and Luis Padilla of Colusa; sisters Gloria Padilla, Norma Padilla and Karina Padilla, all of Colusa, Rosa M. Padilla of Woodland, Dora Padilla of Lodi, Guillermina Padilla and Juana Padilla, both of Williams; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Victoria Padilla.
