Letters: Support of Kappa Gamma appreciated

Thank you to all the music lovers who purchased root beer floats at Concerts in the Park this summer.

We hope you not only appreciated the sweet treat for yourself, but will also be glad to know that your dollars will support the charitable projects of Theta Mu Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma International, a society of women educators.

Currently, Theta Mu is providing backpacks filled with school supplies as well as underclothing for homeless and underprivileged children in Colusa County.

Other projects include aiding with baby literacy and volunteering in classrooms. We are grateful for your contributions to these local projects.
