Republican Party: Vote for Nielsen, not Logue

Last week, Dan Logue announced that he was ending his campaign for the state Senate due to illness. The California Republican Party immediately voted unanimously to endorse Jim Nielsen as the official Republican candidate for state Senate, District 4.

As Northern vice chairman of the California Republican Party, I feel it is important to inform Republican voters that Jim Nielsen is the only Republican candidate for state Senate.

Republican voters must not be confused. Dan Logue’s name will appear on the ballot, but he is no longer a candidate for state Senate.

The Democrats are spending millions to try to gain a two-thirds majority in the state Senate so that they can raise taxes and increase spending at will. We must keep this state Senate seat in

Republican hands in order to stop Democrats from achieving a supermajority.
Please read your ballot carefully and make sure to vote only for the official Republican candidate for state Senate, Jim Nielsen.
