Senior games
Senior citizens are invited to participate in the Colusa Parks and Community Services Senior Game Day. The event will be held at 1 p.m. each Wednesday at City Hall, 425 Webster St., Room 2. For more information, call 458-5622, ext. 109, or go to www.cityofcolusa.com.
Turkey shoot
The annual Turkey Shoot, sponsored by Bear Valley/Indian Valley Fire Protection Association, has been rescheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday. Shooting events include Trap Shoot, .22 Rifle Target Shoot and .22 Pistol Target Shoot. A couple of non-shooting events are also offered. Lunch available at snack bar. Proceeds are used for improvement to fire hall and to support firefighters. For more information, call 518-5833.
Poinsettia sale
The Egling Middle School Library is selling poinsettias to benefit the library. Each plant is $12. Orders will be accepted until Nov. 19, and will be ready for pickup between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Dec. 4 and 5 at the school. For more information, call 458-7631.
Seniors walk
The Colusa Parks and Community Service Department offers a weekly senior walking program at 10 a.m. each Tuesday at City Hall, 425 Webster St. For more information, call 458-5622, ext. 109.
Alliance dinner
Family Water Alliance holds its 13th annual fundraiser dinner Nov. 22 at the Maxwell Veterans Hall, 250 Oak St., Maxwell. No-host cocktails at 5:30 p.m.; dinner served at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 per person, and attendees will be eligible for door prizes, including a 42-inch flat-screen TV.
