Cooper Dietz, 10, holds a Benelli Nova 12-gauge shotgun, similar to the one his grandmother, Jacquie Dietz of Orland, won by guessing the closest to the number of shotgun shells in a 10-gallon tank at the Empire Steel booth at the recent Colusa Farm Show. Robert Held, a buyer with the Yuba City scrap company, presented Dietz with her prize Wednesday at Kittle's Outdoor & Sport Co. in Colusa, where the gun, valued at $480, was purchased. Shop owner Pat Kittle threw in a couple of boxes of shells to top off the deal. The number of shells in the tank was 7,203.
