Steve McVey

Steve McVey passed away on June 11, 2008 at the Rideout Memorial Hospital in Marysville, CA at the age of 46. He was a lifelong resident of the Yuba-Sutter area.

Steve was born on May 23, 1962 in Yuba City, Ca to Roger and Yvonne McVey. He was a hay farmer for many years. He spent many years as a local fishing guide. He was a member of the Ducks Unlimited. Steve loved the outdoor life.

Steve is survived by parents, Roger and Yvonne McVey of Meridian; brother, Mark McVey of Meridian; fiancée, Lori Garofalo of Colusa; grandfather Ruel McClung of Yuba City. Steve was also survived by his nephew, Craig Davis of Yuba City, and aunts, uncles, and friends too numerous to count. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Alma McClung.

A graveside services will be held at the Sutter Cemetery on Thursday, June 19, 2008 at 10 a.m. A visitation hour will be held at the Ullrey Memorial Chapel in Yuba City on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m.
