50th Anniversary: Stokes

Bob and Donna Stokes will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary next Saturday.

The couple, both of whom were born and raised in Colusa and attended local schools, were married Oct. 13, 1962, in the First Christian Church in Colusa.

Bob owns Stokes Machine Shop in Colusa and is a gunsmith, while Donna worked more than 40 years at the county fairgrounds.

The Stokes enjoy traveling, hunting and fishing.

They have one son, Mike, and three grandchildren, Kayleigh, Abby and Hunter Stokes.

Bob is the son of Winona Stokes and the late Bill Stokes.

Donna is the daughter of Bessie Woods and the late Sam Woods.
