Hello, Fall: Williams Harvest Fun Run draws quite a crowd
The third annual Williams Harvest Fun Run took place on Saturday morning. Put on for the first time this year by the Delta Theta Pi sorority, the event drew 101 participants and raised about $800 to be donated back to Williams High School.
There were four categories within the race, including men's and women's one-mile run and men's and women's 5K.
Jackie Corona won the women's mile race. MaryPat Peterson took second, and Nicolet Weber was third.
In the male one-mile division, Brandon Weber won, Pedro Gonzalez finished second, and Michael Coder took third.
For the women's 5K, Julie Elliot was first, Carmen Contreras second and Jessica Rivera third. Felipe Granados won the men's 5K, while Ron Rector took second and Ramiro Navarro finished third.
