What do you enjoy most about your job? I like fixing things.

What do you least enjoy about your job? It would be getting real dirty.

If you could do anything else, what would it be and why? I would like to be a travel consultant to see the world.

What is the best thing about the area? I just like small towns. It's very comfortable and the people are friendly.

What would you like to change about the area? Here? More places to eat.

Do you have any hobbies, interests: I like duck hunting. I go to Marysville. I've been hunting for about 15 years.

Whom do you admire most and why? My wife. She holds it all together and keeps us all going.

What is your favorite book and why? Probably the Bible because it is what it is.

If you could travel back in time, when and where would you go, and why? I would probably go to the Old West — the 1850s or around there. I just think it would be interesting.

What is your favorite television show? I like a lot of stuff. We watched "Two Broke Girls." It's pretty good. We always liked "Two and a Half Men" but it's kind of so-so now.

You don't like Ashton Kutcher? I don't know. It lost something, you know? He was a jerk but the show did lose something.

What kind of music do you listen to? I like a lot of stuff. I listen to a lot of old rock 'n' roll and a lot of new stuff and country. My girls have gotten me into a lot of new stuff. I grew up listening to Foreigner, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Lynyrd Skynyrd — the classics.
